Getting Ready!

It's that time of year when I spend my days in my classroom getting it ready for my new group of kiddos! I always decorate my room with the monkey theme and I just love when they come out with something new to match!! Plus this year I am busy changing all the things from Miss Austin to Mrs. Geels! Quite enjoyable! :-) 

Name Change!

Miss Austin is now Mrs. Geels!

As different as it will be . . . I am now Mrs. Geels! If you are in my class this year we will be learning the new name! :-) I am very excited to find out who my new group of students will be. I'm ready for another GREAT year! I am headed to the Learning Oasis (teacher store) tomorrow morning to buy some supplies. Starting Monday, I will be working hard in my classroom trying to prepare for my kiddos!

First Day Back

Today was our first day back to school. The kiddos and I had a great day! We started working on ABC Echoes and Geometric Shapes (sphere, cylinder, cone, cube). The kids settled back into the routine perfectly. They were really hungry by the time lunch came around and they were VERY ready for nap time! :-) 


Also, today was Will's birthday! He had a visitor bring him balloons and goodie bags for all the kids! Will (and the class) loved the surprise!!!
