We Wish You A Merry Christmas

We had a perfect Christmas Party Day! It could not have been any better! We had so many treats and goodies to snack on and we had a great book exchange! This year I decided to play a game with our presents instead of just drawing numbers. We played dirty Santa except I called it Silly Santa! :-) This was SO much fun!!! I would like to give a BIG thanks to the help I had that day from parents! Whether you sent food, gifts, candy, or came to the party. . . I am THANKFUL and it would not have been the success it was without you!

Movie Day

Every year at Christmas time our school schedules days for each grade to go to the movies! Today was our day and boy were the kiddos excited! Each student got a sprite and a popcorn. We watched Tangled and it was such a good movie! I even teared up at the end! ;-) Here is a few pics of everyone waiting on the movie to start!

Petting Zoo

Our High School Agri students invited Kindergarten to come visit their petting zoo. The kids were SO excited. The high school students read The 3 Little Pigs to us and they even had three little houses set up with new baby pigs in each house! I was so impressed at how well the students did with our kindergartners. The kiddos loved getting to feed all of the animals. It was a great trip! I had so many pictures that I thought a slideshow would be the best way to post them all!

Patterns

Today we worked on making patterns. Patterns are a part of our morning calendar time so the students did very well. We have learned different types of patterns such as AB, ABB, AAB, and ABC. Here are some pictures of the patterns we made with connecting blocks!
